Lucie Dessertine is a French illustrator with a deep love for color, magic, and storytelling. As a child, she spent hours lost in the illustrated books that filled her family’s home, drawn to their rich details and imaginative worlds.

She first earned a degree from the School of Fine Arts, followed by a second degree from a film and animation school. These two disciplines helped shape her approach to illustration.

After graduating, her creativity led her to become a freelance illustrator, specializing on books for children. Since then, Lucie has collaborated with over fifteen publishers and brought more than thirty-five books or games to life with her art.

After a few years of exploring across several horizons she now lives in the French Alps — the fabulous mountains where she was born.
